Introduction
StudyPanda AI is a school planner app designed to help users organize homework, schedules, exams, study reminders, rewards, and learning habits. The app is designed for children and families and works without requiring users to create an external account.
StudyPanda AI does not sell personal data.
Information We Collect
StudyPanda AI stores app information locally on the user's device so the app can provide homework planning, scheduling, reminders, pet rewards, achievements, and parent features. This may include:
- homework tasks, subjects, topics, due dates, difficulty, status, and reminders;
- school schedule and exam preparation information;
- pet progress, coins, XP, achievements, rewards, and app settings;
- notification preferences and local planner settings;
- subscription and purchase status needed to unlock Premium features;
- a local timestamp if the user unlocks temporary Premium by watching a rewarded ad.
The app does not require users to create an external account, and StudyPanda AI does not collect account login information through its own server.
Camera and OCR
Camera access is used only when the user chooses to scan assignments or add a homework photo. StudyPanda AI may use on-device text recognition to help read homework text from a photo.
Photos used for homework scanning are processed for app functionality. Assignment scanning and homework review work on the device without sending photos to a StudyPanda AI server.
Advertising
StudyPanda AI may show an optional Google rewarded advertisement if the user taps “Watch ad” to unlock Premium for 24 hours. This is a clearly labeled ad. The user can close the ad using the standard Google ad close control. Premium is granted only after the official reward callback confirms that the ad was fully watched. Closing the ad early does not grant Premium.
Because the app is designed for children and families, advertising is configured as child-directed / age-restricted:
- personalized, interest-based, and remarketing ads are turned off;
- ad content is limited to a general-audiences rating;
- the Google Mobile Ads SDK is tagged for child-directed treatment and users under the age of consent;
- we do not use homework, schedule, pet, or parent data to personalize ads.
To serve and measure these ads, Google may process device information such as IP address, device identifiers, and, where the platform provides it, the advertising ID. On Android this can include the Google advertising ID. StudyPanda AI does not use the advertising ID to build interest profiles of children.
In regions where Google’s User Messaging Platform requires a consent or privacy message, the official UMP form is shown before ads are requested. If ads are not allowed by that consent state, the rewarded ad is not loaded and Premium is not granted. Where a privacy options entry point is required, it remains available in Settings.
Watching an ad is optional. Users can ignore the rewarded-ad offer and still use the free planner or buy Premium through the official app store.
Subscriptions and Purchases
StudyPanda AI may offer optional Premium subscriptions and a lifetime purchase. On iOS, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. On Android, payments are processed by Google through Google Play Billing. Apple and Google may process payment information, purchase history, and subscription status according to their own policies and store terms.
StudyPanda AI may store local Premium status and a rewarded-ad expiry timestamp on the device so Premium features can be enabled or restored inside the app. A 24-hour rewarded unlock never replaces, deletes, or changes a paid subscription or lifetime purchase.
Children's Privacy
StudyPanda AI is intended for use by children and parents as a homework and study organization tool. The app does not require children to create an external account and does not sell personal data.
Optional ads, if shown, are child-directed, non-personalized, labeled as advertising, and shown only after the user chooses to watch them. Parents should supervise the information children enter into the app and can contact us with privacy questions at the email address below.
Data Sharing
StudyPanda AI does not sell personal data. StudyPanda AI does not use homework and study data entered in the app for advertising.
We may rely on platform providers:
- Apple App Store and Google Play for payments, subscription management, and restore purchases;
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform only if the user chooses to watch a rewarded ad.
Those services are governed by the provider’s own terms and privacy policies.
Data Security
StudyPanda AI is designed to keep student, homework, schedule, pet, and parent data on the user's device. There is no StudyPanda account server and no custom backend for school data. Users should protect their device with a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, or other device-level security features.
Network access is used for official store purchases, optional rewarded ads, and opening this privacy policy. No method of storage or transmission is perfect, but keeping school data local reduces unnecessary data transfer.

User Choices
Users can choose whether to enter homework and schedule information, enable notifications, use camera scanning, watch a rewarded ad, or purchase Premium. Users can manage notification and tracking-related permissions in device settings. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions in their Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Users can delete app data by removing the app from their device, subject to the device operating system's normal app data behavior.
