Privacy Guard AI Privacy Policy

Privacy Guard AI is an Android privacy risk scanner designed to analyze app permission risks locally on your device.

Effective date: June 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Privacy Guard AI handles information. The app is designed to work without registration, without accounts, without cloud storage, and without tracking.

No registrationNo account creation is required.
No cloud storageScan history stays on your device.
No trackingNo advertising SDKs or tracking SDKs are used.
Local-only scanningInstalled-app metadata is analyzed locally.

Information we do not collect

Privacy Guard AI does not collect, sell, share, or upload personal data. The app does not require you to create an account and does not ask for registration.

Local-only privacy scanning

Privacy Guard AI analyzes installed-app metadata locally on your Android device. This may include app names, package names, requested permissions, install source, version information, last update time, and technical risk signals such as accessibility service, notification listener, overlay, or device admin indicators when Android makes this information available.

Install source and APK signature metadata

To provide honest app trust classification, Privacy Guard AI may locally review technical installation metadata reported by Android, such as whether an app appears to be a system or factory-installed app, installed from Google Play, installed from a browser such as Chrome, installed from another package installer, or installed from an unknown source.

Privacy Guard AI may also locally check whether Android can confirm APK signing certificate information for an installed app. This check is used only as a technical trust signal. Privacy Guard AI does not upload APK files, does not copy APK contents, does not reverse engineer apps, and does not send install source, signature metadata, scan results, or reports to ContactEchoo servers.

Apps installed from Google Play, trusted system components, and factory-installed Android apps are generally classified as trusted unless strong suspicious indicators are also present. Apps installed through a browser, from an unknown source, or with signing details that Android cannot confirm may be marked for review or shown as suspicious with an explanation so the user can make an informed decision.

The analysis is used only to show privacy risk scores, suspicious permission combinations, and recommendations inside the app.

Content the app does not read

Privacy Guard AI does not read the private content stored in your apps or on your device.

Scan history and reports

Scan history is stored only on your device. If you export a report, the report is created locally and you control whether to share it using Android system sharing tools. Privacy Guard AI does not upload exported reports automatically.

Data deletion

You control deletion of local data. You can delete scan history inside the app where available, or remove all locally stored app data through Android system settings by clearing the app storage or uninstalling Privacy Guard AI.

Because ContactEchoo does not store your scan history or scan results on a server, ContactEchoo cannot remotely delete data that remains only on your device.

Security

Privacy Guard AI is designed to reduce data exposure by keeping analysis local. The app does not use cloud accounts, remote scan storage, hidden uploads, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs.

No app can guarantee complete protection against all privacy or security threats. Privacy Guard AI provides privacy risk analysis and recommendations; it is not antivirus software and does not promise spyware removal, surveillance protection, military-grade security, or 100% protection.

Google Play compliance

Privacy Guard AI is intended to comply with Google Play privacy and data safety expectations by limiting data handling to local device processing. The app uses targeted Android package visibility declarations to analyze relevant installed-app metadata and does not request broad installed-app visibility through QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES.

If the app offers a paid lifetime upgrade, purchases are processed through Google Play Billing where required by Google Play policy.

Children

Privacy Guard AI is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require registration and does not collect personal data through ContactEchoo servers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when material changes are made.
