Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Echo Moments ("the app"), published by Contact Echoo, handles information when you use the app. Echo Moments helps you revisit personal photos and videos through a calm, private timeline ??? without requiring a cloud account.

• Echo Moments works offline-first for building your personal memory timeline on your device.
• Echo Moments does not require an account, login, or registration.
• Echo Moments does not upload your photos or videos to Contact Echoo servers for normal app operation.
• Echo Moments does not use in-app analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or cross-app tracking frameworks.
• Echo Moments does not show advertisements.
• Echo Moments does not sell your personal data.
• Timeline organization, collections, recaps, and export rendering run using on-device processing.
• Cached thumbnails and local metadata may be stored on your device to improve performance.
• Hiding a moment inside Echo Moments does not delete the original photo or video from your device library.

Echo Moments indexes moments from your photo library using metadata (such as dates, media type, and optional location metadata already attached to your files). The app may store:

• local timeline and collection organization
• favorites and hide-from-app preferences
• cached thumbnails in app storage
• export working files while you create a reel
• app settings such as theme and notification preferences

This information remains on your device unless you delete app data, clear cache from settings, or uninstall the app.

• Photos / Media Library: used only to read metadata and generate local thumbnails for your private timeline, collections, stories, and exports you choose to create.
• Notifications (optional): local reminders only if you enable them in app settings. Disabled by default.
• Microphone access is not currently required for the core Echo Moments experience. If optional media features are added in the future, any microphone access would require explicit user permission.

You can change permissions anytime in your device system settings. If access is denied or limited, some features may be unavailable.

Story cards, recaps, cinematic playback, and memory exports are generated on your device. Echo Moments does not send your library to Contact Echoo servers for routine timeline features described here.

Exports you create are saved locally and shared only if you choose to use your device's share sheet.

• Optional Echo Moments Premium subscriptions may be available through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Payment processing is handled by Apple or Google; Contact Echoo does not receive your full payment card details.
• Premium features, when offered, run on your device and do not require uploading your media library to our servers.

Echo Moments is a personal memory utility for general audiences. It is not directed at children to collect personal information from them. If you believe we received a child's personal information inadvertently, contact us using the email below.

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised and this page will remain available for store listings and in-app links.
