Noota Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Noota — Offline Voice Notes & Transcription. Noota lets users record voice notes, transcribe speech into text, organize recordings, and export or share notes.

Noota is designed as an offline-first app. It does not require an account, does not run a cloud recording backend, and does not upload your recordings or transcripts to our servers.

This policy distinguishes between information processed by Noota itself on your device and information that may be processed by Google when optional Rewarded Ads are shown through Google AdMob.

Noota stores app data locally on your device. This may include:

• audio recordings
• transcripts
• folders and categories
• favorites and pinned notes
• app settings and local preferences
• local temporary Premium expiry state after a rewarded advertisement, when applicable

These items remain on your device unless you choose to export, share, delete, or remove them.

Noota does not sell personal data. Noota does not operate a backend that collects advertising identifiers for its own advertising profile. When Rewarded Ads are shown, Google's advertising SDK may process advertising-related information as described below.

Noota does not require registration or login. Noota does not provide cloud sync and does not upload recordings or transcripts to Contact Echoo servers.

Noota uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to provide optional Rewarded Ads.

Free users may choose to watch a Rewarded Ad to receive temporary Premium access for 24 hours. Watching the advertisement is optional. Users may continue using the Free version without receiving the reward. Paid Premium users are not offered Rewarded Ads for this temporary unlock while paid Premium is already active.

Google, as the advertising provider, may process information necessary to deliver, secure, measure, and improve advertising. Depending on the user's device, region, privacy choices, and app configuration, this may include information such as:

• device and app information;
• IP address;
• advertising identifiers where available and permitted;
• ad interactions and impressions;
• diagnostic or performance information;
• approximate information derived from network or device signals where applicable.

These categories are not always collected in every case. Google determines what is processed for ad delivery under its own systems and policies.

Google's handling of advertising data is governed by Google's privacy policies and advertising or privacy controls. For more information, review Google's privacy and advertising documentation, including Google's policies for AdMob and user consent where applicable.

Temporary Rewarded Premium

A Rewarded Ad is optional. Temporary Premium is granted only after the user successfully earns the reward for that advertisement.

When a reward is earned, Noota grants temporary Premium access for 24 hours. The temporary Premium expiry is stored locally by Noota on the device. Temporary Rewarded Premium is not a purchase and is not a subscription. It does not change Google Play or App Store subscription state.

Closing or cancelling an advertisement without earning the reward does not grant temporary Premium. The user can continue in Free mode.

Google's EU User Consent requirements can apply when ads are served to users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Those requirements may include disclosures and consent for local storage, mobile advertising identifiers, or other personal data used for advertising.

Available privacy choices may depend on the user's region, device settings, and Google's advertising or privacy controls. Users should also review device-level privacy and advertising settings provided by Apple or Google.

This Privacy Policy describes advertising practices and privacy disclosures for Noota. It does not claim that a specific consent management platform is always presented inside the app.

Noota asks for permissions only when needed for app features:

• Microphone: required to record voice notes.
• Speech Recognition: required to convert speech to text using on-device or system speech recognition when available.
• Storage, Files, or Share access: used only when you choose to export or share files, depending on the platform.
• Network access: used to load optional rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob when you choose to watch an ad, and for App Store or Google Play purchase confirmation where applicable.

Noota uses on-device or system speech recognition where available to convert speech into text. Speech recognition availability, supported languages, and processing behavior may depend on your device, operating system, installed language packs, and Apple or Google platform services.

Noota does not send your recordings or transcripts to Contact Echoo servers for transcription.

Noota may offer optional Premium subscriptions through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google through their store systems.

Noota does not store your payment card details. Apple and Google may process purchase information according to their own privacy policies and store terms.

Temporary Rewarded Premium described above is separate from paid Premium purchased through Google Play or the App Store.

When you export or share a recording or transcript, Noota uses your device and operating system sharing features. You control what you choose to export or share and where you send it.

You can delete recordings and transcripts directly inside the app. Deleting the app removes locally stored app data according to your operating system behavior.

Depending on the features you use, the following third parties may process information:

• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK — optional Rewarded Ads used to offer temporary Premium access.
• Apple App Store and Google Play — optional paid Premium subscription purchases and related store purchase processing.
• Apple or Google platform speech recognition services — only as provided by the device operating system when on-device or system speech recognition is used.

These third parties process information under their own privacy policies and terms. Noota does not control Google's, Apple's, or Google Play's independent processing.

Noota is not designed to collect personal data from children. Because Noota does not require an account and stores voice notes locally, we do not knowingly collect children's personal data through a backend service.

We may update this Privacy Policy when Noota changes or when app store requirements change. The latest version will be available at this page.
