SnapPDF Private Scanner is an offline PDF scanner app designed to help you scan, process, organize, and share documents locally on your device.
Offline and local by design
SnapPDF Private Scanner does not require an account. Your documents stay on your device, and the app does not upload your scans or PDF files to cloud servers.

Document processing
OCR, scan cleanup, image enhancement, PDF generation, and other document processing features happen locally on your device. If a feature cannot process a page, the app safely falls back to the local document image without sending it anywhere.
Permissions
SnapPDF Private Scanner may request these permissions only for user-requested document workflows:
- Camera permission is used only to scan documents.
- Photos permission is used only to import selected images and export or share files you choose.
Files selected through these permissions are processed locally and are not collected, tracked, or transmitted by SnapPDF.
In-app purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. SnapPDF receives purchase status from the store only to unlock premium features. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google and are not collected by SnapPDF.
