StudyPanda AI Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how StudyPanda AI handles information. StudyPanda AI is a school planner with homework, schedules, a study pet, local achievements, reminders, offline OCR, and optional Premium features for families.

Short version: StudyPanda AI works without registration and stores app data locally on the device. Homework photos for OCR are processed on the device and are not uploaded to a server.

StudyPanda AI may store the following information locally on the phone or tablet:

• child profile settings such as language, age, grade, theme, and selected pet
• homework tasks, subjects, topics, due dates, difficulty, status, and reminders
• school schedule, lessons, rooms, teachers, exams, and study blocks
• pet progress, XP, coins, streaks, achievements, shop items, and inventory
• parent mode PIN, parent rewards, notification settings, and local app preferences
• local Premium status needed to unlock purchased or restored Premium features

This information is used only to run the app experience on the device. StudyPanda AI does not require an online account.

The photo homework scan feature uses on-device text recognition. Photos selected or taken for OCR are processed locally on the device. StudyPanda AI does not upload OCR photos or recognized homework text to our server.

If the OCR result is unclear, the app asks the user to review and correct the homework fields before saving a task locally.

StudyPanda AI does not use Firebase, MongoDB, a custom backend, user registration, external authentication, third-party analytics SDKs, or advertising SDKs. We do not sell personal data and we do not use the app for cross-app tracking.

StudyPanda AI is designed for children and teenagers with a parent or guardian as the subscription purchaser. The app does not include public profiles, chat, social feeds, user-generated content sharing, or direct messaging.

StudyPanda AI can use local notifications for homework reminders, morning summaries, evening checks, exam reminders, and streak reminders. These notifications are scheduled on the device. You can control notification permissions in the app settings and device settings.

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Store purchase records may be used locally by the app to unlock Premium features and restore purchases.

Because StudyPanda AI stores data locally, deleting the app or clearing app storage may remove homework, schedule, pet progress, achievements, rewards, and settings from the device. Store purchases can be restored through Apple App Store or Google Play when available.

We may update this policy when the app changes, legal requirements change, or store requirements change. The latest version will remain available on this page.
