Privacy Policy for VidConvert

Local Media Processing
VidConvert processes selected video and audio files locally on your device. User media files are not uploaded to VidConvert servers. Temporary working files and converted outputs may be stored locally on your device so the app can complete conversion, save results, or let you share them.
Optional Rewarded Ads
VidConvert may display optional rewarded advertisements if you choose to watch an ad to convert a large file once. Rewarded ads are provided through Google AdMob.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process device, advertising, diagnostic, interaction, and consent-related information according to Google's policies and your consent choices. VidConvert uses the Google User Messaging Platform where required to collect and manage consent choices. Privacy choices may be available in the app when required.
VidConvert itself does not sell personal data. VidConvert does not upload your selected media files to Google or to VidConvert servers for conversion.
Permissions
The app may request access to:
- Photo Library or Files, to select media and save converted files
- Microphone, if audio recording or audio processing features are used
- Camera, only if you choose to capture media in the app
These permissions are used for the features you choose. They do not mean your selected media is uploaded to VidConvert servers.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. VidConvert receives purchase status information needed to unlock Premium features.
