FitPulse AI Privacy Policy

How FitPulse AI handles on-device fitness data, the local AI Trainer, notifications, advertising, purchases, and Google SDK transmissions.

FitPulse AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a home fitness application published by Contact Echoo. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the FitPulse AI mobile app on Android. The statements below reflect the app’s current source behavior.

Information Stored on Your Device

FitPulse AI may store information you enter or generate in the app locally on your device, including:

  • Profile details such as gender, age, height, weight, target weight, activity level, experience, and fitness goals
  • Workout plan selections, completed sessions, streaks, XP, achievements, and progress history
  • AI Trainer chat messages and smart assessment fields (for example weight, height, age, gender, goal, and available workout minutes)
  • Water intake logs and hydration targets
  • Weight entries and body-metric values such as BMI
  • Progress photos you choose to save
  • Reminder preferences and notification settings
  • Premium purchase entitlement status
  • App settings such as language and voice guidance preferences

Local storage uses on-device mechanisms such as app preferences and the app’s private documents directory. Uninstalling the app typically removes this local data unless your operating system keeps a device backup.

AI Trainer (On-Device Only)

The AI Trainer feature is local and rule-based. Coaching responses and smart assessment logic run on your device. FitPulse AI does not use third-party artificial intelligence services or external large language models (LLMs). AI Trainer data and chat messages are not sent to external AI providers.

AI Trainer output is general wellness guidance only and is not medical advice. Availability may be limited on the free plan and expanded with Premium.

Progress Photos

Progress photos are optional. When you add a photo, FitPulse AI opens the Android system Photo Picker / system image picker. The selected image is copied into the app’s private local storage for before/after comparison.

FitPulse AI does not upload progress photos to FitPulse servers and does not use cloud storage SDKs for photos. Free users are limited to three saved photos; Premium users can save more. You can delete saved photos in the app at any time.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, FitPulse AI schedules local notifications such as workout reminders on your device. Notification delivery is handled by your operating system. You can disable notifications in the app or in your device settings.

Data That Leaves Your Device

The following processing involves off-device transmission through Google SDKs or Google Play services. FitPulse AI does not operate a separate FitPulse cloud backend for user fitness profiles or photos.

Firebase Analytics

The app uses Firebase Analytics to measure feature usage. When Firebase is available, the app may send these custom events and parameters:

  • app_open
  • onboarding_started, onboarding_completed
  • workout_started with plan_id, day_index
  • workout_completed with plan_id, day_index, calories, minutes
  • premium_opened, premium_purchased
  • water_logged with amount_ml
  • weight_logged with weight_kg
  • photo_saved with category (category label only; not the image file)
  • challenge_completed with challenge_id
  • mission_completed with mission_id
  • share_card_generated with title
  • premium_trial_unlocked with duration_hours

Firebase Analytics may also process standard Google Analytics for Firebase technical signals (for example app instance identifiers) according to Google’s policies. FitPulse AI does not set a custom analytics user ID in app code.

Firebase Crashlytics

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports, stack traces, error reasons recorded by the app, device model, operating system version, and related diagnostic data so we can fix stability issues. FitPulse AI does not set a custom Crashlytics user ID in app code.

Firebase Remote Config

The app uses Firebase Remote Config to fetch non-personal configuration values such as premium price display text, ad cooldown hours, default water goal, XP multiplier, and feature flags. Fetching Remote Config uses Google Firebase services and may involve standard Firebase installation/instance identifiers.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Free users may see advertisements served through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), including interstitial ads shown after workout completion and rewarded ads used for temporary premium unlocks. Ad requests use the default AdMob request configuration in the app.

Google may process device identifiers (including advertising ID where available), IP address, app activity signals, and similar technical data according to Google’s advertising policies and your device/account settings. A one-time Premium purchase with permanent access removes in-app ads after purchase activation.

In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

FitPulse AI offers a one-time Premium purchase with permanent access through Google Play Billing. This is not a subscription. Payment processing, receipts, refunds, and tax handling are managed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

We store purchase entitlement status locally so Premium features such as ad removal, AI Trainer Premium, advanced analytics, and extended photo progress can be unlocked on your device.

What We Do Not Do (Current App)

  • No FitPulse user account / email / password sign-in
  • No upload of progress photos by FitPulse AI
  • No third-party AI services or external large language models for AI Trainer; AI Trainer data and chat messages are not sent to external AI providers
  • We do not sell your personal information

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your information. You can:

  • Edit or remove tracker entries, workouts, and photos inside the app
  • Disable reminders and notifications
  • Turn off voice guidance and adjust app settings
  • Manage ad personalization through device and Google settings
  • Request purchase support or refunds through Google Play where applicable
  • Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device
  • Contact us to ask privacy questions or request assistance with data concerns

Children

FitPulse AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

FitPulse AI provides general fitness and wellness information. It is not medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional before starting a workout plan, especially if you have injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy-related concerns, or pain during exercise.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are posted. The latest policy is published at https://contactechoo.com/fitpulse/privacy.
